How many people have used a midwife it experienced an at home birth?

I have a midwife and will be going a home birth. Everything cost wise with my midwife will cost us $3000. That's prenatal care, birth, all the testing, and post natal care. That's not even filing with insurance. I also have a midwife that specializes in breech births at home and low and behold at 30 weeks my little man is still breech. But I'm hoping he turns. I want a water birth. I'll prob just use my tub, but I may get a actual birth tub from a friend.. I've had two hospital births and they used unnecessary interventions on me which lead to more interventions and they were even pushing me into sections because of how much time my labor was taking. I was bullied into an epidural just so they wouldn't have to deal with me as well. That wasn't the experience that I wanted at all. I'm hoping after this delivery, I'm more fulfilled and get everything I've hoped for. :)

Yes maam. Two of my births were midwife assisted home births. Absolutely LOOOVED them. I was free to listen to my body, I didn't have any cervix checks, I wasn't hooked up for constant monitoring etc. I felt amazing after my births. With our 4th baby (second home birth) I did have a small hemorrhage and we were on the brink of transfer but we got my bleeding under control. My first home birth was about 2400, she wasn't licensed but she had been delivering babies for 20+ years. My second midwife was licensed and she was 3200. Both absolutely amazing midwives, were very knowledgeable and both a very calm presence during labor and delivery.
