So I have B cups, but when I wear a regular bra it makes my chest look smaller. So I bought a push up bra, but it just makes my chest look the same size it would be if I had nothing on. I don't know if this is how a push up bra works, or what...

"Push-up" bra. It's supposed to lift and make your chest appear fuller. If it's not, you may not have the correct size.

From what I remember, push up bras make your breast look more defined and gives you more cleveage. Don't hold me too it though, I've been wearing nothing but sports bras for the past 3 (almost 4) years.

Just a push-up bra will just give your more cleavage... they sell push-ups that add cup sizes if you are looking to be bigger. I know Victoria's Secret sells 1.5x cups bigger and 2 cups bigger.
