OK ladies I have a dilemma. My son is gonna turn 1 in a couple months! So excited but having some difficulties with some people. My mom and I are currently estranged because of choices she keeps making. 1 being the fact that she was drinking while I was in labor and being immature about my step dad being there (they are divorced) and other stuff that has been going on since I was little. And also disrespects my husband every chance she gets so I kicked her off my property a day told her not to come back until she learned how to be an adult. I don't really want to invite her because my step dad is definitely coming and doesn't start anything with my mom. But then my son is her only grandchild and I don't want to seem like an ass for not even inviting her. My SO says if I want her here to invite her and if she can't behave for our sons sake she will be escorted out of the party and asked to never come back. My thing is I don't even want that to have to be an option for his FIRST BIRTHDAYS! I'm so lost and don't know what to do! Help please. What would you do? Just ask if you need additional info
