what did your doctor do for you postpartum depression

What did your doctor do and say when you told them you think you have postpartum depression? 
Did they ask your symptoms and put you in medication?
My 6 weeks dr appointment is next week and I'm thinking about telling my dr that I think I have postpartum depression, I'm not good with opening up to anyone so I want to know what I'm in for when I do. Thank you

When I went in I had to fill out a 10 question paper. It evaluates your level of postpartum depression, my doctor asked different I was suicidal at all, if I had a plan, if I would really do it. I was prescribed 50 MG zoloft.

Wondering the same thing. Ive had so many nad majior events happen over the past few months. I camt tell if im depressed, just stressed or PP. My 6wk is tomorrow. So ill let you know what mine says

I went in at 4 weeks. I told them my symptoms over the phone, they scheduled an appt next day. Just be honest about how you're feeling. Don't be embarrassed or ashamed.

My OB started me on Zoloft as I was breastfeeding, and it has helped.
