Surrogate mother?

I have a friend who may not be able to have children. She is only 19 years old. At the moment, they aren't 100% sure if she will be able to have her own children yet due to possible endometriosis, her surgery to determine this is next week. 
Would it be weird or insensitive of me to ask her if she would want me to be her surrogate if she is unable to have her own children? (This is heart breaking to her and she wants her own kids)  I would love to. I would do it for free as well, so she wouldn't have to worry about the extreme cost when it comes to surrogacy and adoption, plus, it would still be biologically her baby. I just don't want to hurt her feelings if I offer to do it.

I've always wanted to do things like this, I want to donate my eggs as well if I can. I just think it would be so great to help her have children of her own and know that the person carrying her child would love and care for the baby, and not just be in it for the money.

Take what you know about your friend and really think on if this is something that would hurt or help. Your her friend so you can give a more accurate outlook on how she would take this offer. Anyone else here would just be giving you their opinion of how they would take the offer which doesn't help much because no one here is your friend in question. Really pay some attention to her and you should able to figure out if this will be perceived in a positive or negative light. Good luck 😄
