infected lump near c-section scar?
LONG BUT MUY IMPORTANTE !
So I got my csection done on SEPT.1. Everything went well. I was not emergency, but it wasn't planned either.. anyway the lump that I had I noticed maybe a week after my csection, I was hard & poked out from my skin a good bit , definitely noticeable far away. Gradually it started hurting not all the time but every once in a while I would get a sharp pain from it.. I went to the dr for it twice. Both times I was prescribed antibiotics & it was just dismissed as scar tissue. I finished both rounds of antibiotics but the lump was still there unphased lol.. so I let it be since it only hurt sometimes & it really wasn't doing anything. I would try to research possible causes & of course got a bunch of diff answers like, endometriosis, scar tissue, etc but to me it seemed like they didn't really fit my situation. So out of nowhere the lump started getting bigger then turning dark purple like a bruise & red around the edges. It had never been discolored, just like a ball under my skin. Then one day I woke up from a nap & the whole thing was GREEN, you couldn't tell tho unless you shined a light on it! It just looked super weird.. anyway next thing you know PUS starts slowly seeping out 😭😖..then I put gauze over it & planned to set a dr apt ASAP, later that night I took the guaze off & the 1st layer of skin had completely came off 😩😰.. it was seeping blood & pus ! Turns out it was a infected abscess(atleast I think).. so I let it seep for a few days then went to a urgent care place (no one accepts my insurance apparently) & she took a sample of it & now I am waiting to hear back to see what's really going on. This was just a PSA for anyone who has a lump on or around csection scar. Get help ahead of time don't wait! This was all over the course of 4 months & lol the lump wasn't as gross as it seems. It's about the size of a dime except more oval-ly shaped. Kinda looks like this 👁 except zombie colored 😂
