Am I wrong to be upset?

So my boyfriend says he loves our daughter more than he loves me and I'm kind of upset about this, should I be or not?

I'm kind of with you in this one. While I obviously think it's great that he cares about her so much, I am the type that thinks your spouse should come before your children. Yes your child is forever and anything could happen between two people but that is not the goal. The goal is to be together for the rest of your lives and your children will not be, they will grow up and leave you and start a family of their own. It will just be you and your spouse after your child is grown and they should always be your number one.

My fiance says he loves our daughter more than he's ever loved anyone in his life.  And to me personally,  it's a compliment. NOW, if u two have fights and he tells u that he loves ur daughter,  but doesn't love YOU,  that's another story.

I'd hope my husband loves our child more than me and if not I'd be upset about that, yes we are a marriage but our child is his bloodline should be his everything

I wouldn't be upset. I love my son more than my fiancée. Because if something was to happen, my son would still be by my side no matter what. He's my world. He's my baby. I understand why you're getting upset though, and it's okay to feel that way.

I don't know that I'd be mad, per se. I just think it's weird to say that. Those are two totally different kinds of love. Maybe he just didn't know how to properly express that. I'm gonna give him the benefit of the doubt.

Who says something like that? That's what I want to know. I'd never compare my love for one family member to my love for another family member right to their faces! That's just not very nice regardless of whether it's true.

My husband says he loves our daughter more I'm not upset cause I feel the same way. She's for life he can leave me and vice versa at any time but we will still have our princess. I'm not upset I get where he's coming from but I know him and myself as well love each other equally just our daughter a bit more!

I wouldn't say I love my children more than my husband or my husband more than my children. They're completely different types of love.  I love them all with all of my heart. I don't rank them.

I told my bf I love our son more than him, and I think he loves him more than me too. Its not the same kind of love, but parental love is always stronger than romantic love.
