Should I go to the hospital?

I was told to go get checked out if I was having more than four Braxton hicks in an hour. I'm only 26 Weeks and I've had them pretty consistently since 3:45. It's now 6:15. 
I need advice on if I should go in. 
I'm asking because I start my new job in an hour and a half and I risk losing it if I don't go. I don't want to go to the hospital if it's not necessary. Please help.

I got BH pretty consistently for days. Keep an eye on them, if they're not getting stronger or closer together it should be fine. Drink lots of water and try to stay off your feet. If they continue or get stronger then go in.

I probably wouldn't go if it meant losing a new job. But that's just me. Maybe you can call a 24 hour nurse advice line and see what they say.

I was in your situation at 24 weeks. I ended up going in....but it was pointless. Personally I would go to work and continue to monitor them. If they get worse or you have more then you should call and go in. It could be a sign of pre term labor. I honestly would ether download a contraction app or write down how long each lasts and the start/end time. It is a business day and you should call your OBGYN of midwife before going to labor and delivery because they may prefer to just monitor you at their office. Lay down, drink water and go into work. If it gets bad just explain the situation to your boss! Good luck!!

I wouldn't go in for braxton hicks, call and see what they say. Could you be dehydrated?

I have had them both pregnancies every 5-10 minutes for hours at a time every night..... just tell your doc next appt. might just be an irritable uterus

How many in a hour ? Are they getting stronger ? Do they stop if you switch positions or anything ?
