Very Disappointed!
I was so sure my water was leaking, but after being in the hospital for hours, they couldn't find any signs of a leak and my ultrasound fluids were at normal levels.
I had sat on my toilet for over 10 minutes as it was steadily trickling down, and at the hospital there was nothing :/
She said she thinks it was a side effect from my membrane sweep that afternoon.
I'm kicking myself for not getting a sample of the fluid from home to put my mind at ease.
Gross, I know, but I had put my finger over my urethra and fluid was coming from my vagina. It was clear, had no urine in it, no smell of urine, it smelled like nothing basically. I had caught some in my free hand to see and it was completely clear fluid.
All of my swab tests came back negative though :(
Has this happened to anyone else?
This just makes me feel like I'm not going to know when my body is actually in labor. I was contracting last night, but it didn't become consistent or strong enough to keep me. I hope something happens today. I took the day off of work because of pure exhaustion from being at the hospital!
Sorry for the long rant, just hard to talk to my SO about it. I don't feel like he understands!
