Period? Implantation? Other suggestions?

So I have pcos which makes my periods super irregular. I went off BC last month because we're wanting to start trying for our second kiddo, and on cd 30, I took a pregnancy test and it was negative. Also, the same day, I had extremely light brown spotting when I wiped. The next day, no more spotting! Thoughts?
