Hiv testing while pregnant?

I got hiv tested today via blood work , i was wondering if they can tell if im pregnant even if they are just looking for hiv ?

The test for HIV is looking for something different from what they're checking for a pregnancy test. Did you ask them to check for pregnancy?

They only test for what they have an order to test. If the order says to test for HIV, then they're only testing for that. But the blood sample in itself can show pregnancy if they were to order pregnancy testing.
