ttc does the multivitamin geritol work ?!

I've seen so many Bfp stories that I read of curiousness I bought me a bottle in the pill form of geritol .. we only have been trying since November 2016 but still nothing . We had high hopes in December because my period was 4 days late and came on the 31st to only spotting up until 2nd of January 2017 ..  I just started on 1/12/2017 first day taking it I have had cramps and every day since then had twinges and on ovulation day I felt way more strong cramps .... it is currently only 2dpo . Would love positive feed back and expierencess
