glucose testing with twins?

Anyone know if the glucose testing is more or less sensitive when you're carrying multiples??? Just curious if that's a factor. I have to do my testing in a few weeks with carrying twins 😬😬😬 kinda nervous bc I have a sweet tooth.

You're more likely to have GD with twins. At least that's what my dr told me.

My Dr told me that the more placentas you have the higher the chance for GD. So..while I've never had it with my singletons, I won't be surprised if I get it with the twins. Having said that...I hope you pass. But if you don't, don't feel bad either. Sometimes it just happens to the best of us, sweet tooth or not :)

I actually think it's the same. I just had mine with the twins and got a 99. with my singleton pregnancy I had a 101. So I don't think it makes a big difference with twins or not.

Its the same. Failing is above 140 at my doctors office which is the same for singletons. Just had mine 3 weeks ago and passed.

You're more susceptible to get it with twins, but I passed, and I also had a sweet tooth my entire pregnancy. Candy, pop, whatever I wanted.

Eh I failed mine. Didn't have a problem with my singleton. Doc said you're more prone to GD with multiples.

had mine on Wednesday, results were 79. needed below 139 to pass. i've never heard of your more sensitive, but have read where people have failed with 2 pregnancy twins when they passed first pregnancy singletons.

may be the twins, may be the second pregnancy. who knows
