laser hair removal🐒
Okay guys I have always had very thick leg hair that grows back unusually fast & I also get painful ingrown hairs. I finally gave in and tried laser hair removal!
Here's what my experience was like:
I went in for full legs (comes with bikini line)
The night before you shave what ever area is going to be treated, but I already knew I was going to go in with prickly legs because of how fast it grows for me.
You can purchase numbing cream (I did not) but if you have extremely dark hair I recommend it (the darker the hair in the area the more painful)
So I go in and they mark my legs. They use a white pen to make a checkered like pattern so they can make sure they don't leave any spots out! (I think this hurt the most, I'm not sure if she was just pushing down really hard but it kind of hurt! Lol)
Next they give u handy 👓 to protect your eyes!
She started lasering my thighs down to my knee, it felt like NOTHING. I guess the machine she was spraying water at the same time as the laser, so cool!
Okay then when she got down to my calf this is where my folical is much much more thick & DARK. I have a few tattoos so I would definitely compare the pain to a single needle tattoo &I would say pain scale is 5/10.
After we were done it did smell kind of like burnt hair in the room, but my legs were bare! The next day my legs were still bare but two days after I felt like It didn't make a difference!
Now the nurse did said it's going to take 6-8 visits for the folicals the be completely gone.
The reason why I'm writing this is because I had got laser the 28th of December and I have my second session January 30th, and today January 17th I haven't shaved my legs in 2 days and I think my first session is actually kicking in!!! It's been 50 degrees in Los Angeles, have got goosebumps several times and I'm still pretty much prickle free on my calfs!!!

Can anyone else relate???!
