My Hope
For almost two years my now, my periods have been so out of whack it's not funny. I cried because I knew it meant I wasn't going to easily get pregnant. Today is the first time I'm having a period within thirty days of my last in that time. It is also the first time since that I'm not spotting first. This victory is all thanks to Metformin. I took an opk earlier this month and got my very first positive. This feels so good! And I'm not even cramping right now! My cramps used to be so bad they would leave me crying! But it just feels good to know that my cycle is finally getting under control. Sorry. Not good. Incredibly amazing! So to anyone doubting yourself or struggling with PCOS, while I know this isn't a pregnancy, just getting your cycle regular can feel like victory. Baby dust to you all!
