freezer meals for postpartum?
This weekend I am meal prepping and getting my fridge/freezer stocked with meals for my family. It is just my husband, son, and myself eating the meals. I will also be exclusively breastfeeding our new little one. Here's what I have so far on my list to make:
Individual chicken pot pies
Taco soup
Breakfast burritos
Regular burritos
Chicken and wild rice soup
Overnight oats
Chia breakfast pudding
Smoothie packs
Roasted sweet potatoes
Pulled pork
Almond butter energy balls
Blueberry lactation muffins
Banana bread
I also plan on having plenty of RX bars and easy to grab snacks for on the go, like fruit and veggie sticks. I would like some more ideas for food to make ahead and freeze though. My husband can EAT and while I do expect some help in the early postpartum days, his job is extremely physically demanding, and I want to continue to serve him in this way, so he can come home from work and give his attention to his family, not worry about what's for dinner.
