The whole skips a generation thing is false. I'm a fraternal twin, and like my mother (who had two sets of twins), I hyperovulate as well. Fraternal twins are def genetic.

Twins can only be hereditary from the mothers side of the family. Why? Because identical rwins are a sientific anomoly and no explanatuon but fraternal twins are from 2 eggs. Your moms genes can give you a higher chance of releasing 2 eggs in a cycle which ups your chance that sperm can fertilie both. If your dad haf twins in the family or your husband does that doesnt up your chances at all

The only way your chance of twins can run in the family is if women in your mom's side of the family are prone to hyper-ovulating (releasing more than 1 egg at a time), which can increase your likelihood of conceiving fraternal twins

They're in each of our families but for him it doesn't matter since it doesn't affect how many eggs I release lol. So with that, plus me taking Clomid I think we have a 10-15% chance of twins? Something like that. We find out next month.
