Appendicitis symptoms?⚠️

Hi ladies! I've had off and on pain on the right side of my abdomen. It seems like I always ovulate on this side but I also experience pain when I'm not close to ovulation or my period. Whose had their appendix taken out and what were the symptoms like???

I haven't but my little brother recently had his removed. His symptoms started with a dull pain on his lower right side that eventually moved to the right of his belly button. He said the pain was constant and stated slow but eventually got pretty sharp. He also could not stop throwing up, and I've never seen him in so much pain before. When the doctors first evaluated him they pressed down quickly on his right side to see if pain worsened and also had him lift his right knee up towards his chest (which seemed excruciating to him). They also said laying down on the right side would worsen the pain.

It depends on where on your right side. Is it lower right abdominal? Does applying pressure make it worse? Mine burst and abscessed so I was cut open and had a lot of infected organs. 
If it's under your right ribcage/with horrid back pain, it could be your gallbladder. Either way, if it's consistently hurting, please go to the ER, and have lab work and a cat scan done.  Please keep us updated! I'm sorry you're experiencing this. I'm actually sleepless right now because I have a liver scan in the am. 😕

My sister had her appendix out when she was 12. Her symptoms were: 
severe cramping (like she would be rolling around on the floor crying).
Everytime she moved she would feel pain.
Back pain, because the appendix is somewhere near your back or side, she would get back aches and such. My mum thought it was period cramps (my sister hadn't got her period yet), so she basically said suck it up😂then it go too serious so she went to the doctors then raced to the hospital because it was gonna explode. My cousin also had it when she was about 4-5 years old and hers actually popped, so she was in a bad state for someone so young. If you have any symptoms like these, go to the doctors, you wouldn't want to risk it. Hope all is well❤️❤️

Mine was constant stabbing pains in my lower right side for 3 months straight. I couldn't move and I could barely breathe.

I haven't had mine out, but my boyfriend has. He had excruciating pain that started up in his chest/upper stomach that moved to his lower right side after a couple of days. Mind you, he's 6'4 and 240 pounds, and he has a high pain tolerance, but he was literally in tears. Even when he laid down, he had to hug a pillow/ put it under his right side for support. My best advice is to go to the doctor and get checked for it, that's really the only way to know for sure. And it's best to do it sooner rather than later. Appendicitis is very dangerous if it ruptures..
