My fasting level was good. 78. But my hour after eating levels today have been above 140. After breakfast it was 143, lunch 160 and dinner 162. I didn't even eat the full amount of carbs I'm allowed either! I'm on 10 units of insulin a night (the kind that is released throughout the day as needed) so I switched to a new pen and we will see how tomorrow goes. If my fasting level or level after breakfast is high I will be calling my endo. I haven't had any issues whatsoever this whole time I really hope it was just needing a new pen since this one was going to expire in a few days.
