Anyone else?

I am 16w4d, and i cannot sleep on either hip without waking up with aching pain. im constantly tossing and turning all night but it never fails. one side always gets more attention than the other, so i wake up aching. if anyone else experienced this, what did you do to fix it?

Omg that's been happening to me since like 10 weeks! It's happened to me before I was pregnant when I've slept on really hard surfaces. My husband got me a pregnancy pillow for Christmas which helps but it still sometimes happens. Sometimes I just have to take my sweats and underwear off cause I feel like they're cutting off circulation

I have a pregnancy pillow but it makes my neck ache something awful. I'm learning that hip stretches daily have helped a lot!!! Think easy stuff like clams and book openings. If I'm religious about them, the soreness isn't so bad.

I always try sleeping on my left side but end up on my back. I read that sleeping on your right side can cause more pain bc of your liver. But even sleeping on my left side too often gets uncomfortable. And they say you shouldn't sleep on your back bc the uterus weighs down on an artery that goes to your heart and can cause it to slow your heart rate. Everything is just too damn complicated!

Yes. Naturally I sleep on my front. Now I can't so I sleep on my side and end up with the same hip pain. I haven't really found much of a solution yet, but I've been looking at pregnancy sleep support pillows

Same here. Huge hip pains ok both sides. Wake up minimum 5 times at night in aching pain plus all the time moving from one side to the other. I spoke to my midwife who suggested a physiotheraphy class for pregnant women having back and hip issues so hopefully that will help! I also ordered a pregnancy pillow.
