potty training under 2 yrs old?!

I was totally shocked lately by the number of moms I've read about or heard that were able to potty train their child younger than 2 yr or even younger than 3 yrs sounds awesome to me?! I also was under the impression that our kids would be in diapers until around 3

When will you start potty training?

What age?

How do you do it?

It doesn't have to do with age. Just if they are showing signs, such as waking up dry after a full night sleep. That will be my signal to start her. If you try to start them too early it can cause issues

My daughter is 15 months and while we've introduced the potty, she's not interested yet. I'll give a little nudge around 18 months and go from there. I know my sister had both her kids potty trained by age two.

My daughter is only 3 months but I was a nanny to young children for 7 years and I have found a lot of children show interest in the potty around 18 months. The children whose parents agreed to buy a training toilet and things to foster that interest ended up being potty trained within the next 6 months to a year. Parents who chose not to engage the child's interest in the potty "missed the window of opportunity" and those kids often weren't fully potty trained until 3 1/2 to 4 years old.

I started putting my son on the potty around 18 months, just got him comfortable using it on occasion until he was ready to actually potty train. He wasn't fully potty trained until 3.

I didn't know there was an age to potty train them at. My son is almost 9 months and I already bought a potty for him. He's starring to walk and i always wanted to introduce the potty when he starts being able to walk. I just want him to get used to it for now, and teach him what it's for. I hope he'll learn early, but I guess I gotta be prepared that it could be a year fr I m now lol.

I potty trained my 5 year old at 2 1/2 years old  & started in June by August he was trained

My sons are 2 and 3 (almost 3 and 4) and they've been potty trained for almost 6 months. They were very stubborn though and it took roughly a year. Hoping this girl I'll be having in 2-3 weeks will be less stubborn lol.

My daughter is 16 months and we are potty training her. We started at 14 months but are going slow because she gets scared of her toilet at times. She's gone a couple of times though. She lets us know when she poops and pees in her diaper so she's definitely showing signs of being ready.
