birth control question

On January 8 I was 7 hours late taking my third pill for the first week of my new pack for the month. I was seeing a movie during the time I was supposed to take it and completely forgot.

I read the I instructions that came with my birth control and it says you can miss up to one pill and not need a backup method.

I just read from multiple sources online though that during the first week you're supposed to use a back up method for up to seven days even if you're only a few hours late because that week is the most important.

Luckily I didn't have unprotected sex for another five days just by chance, but I had had unprotected sex the day before I was late.

Should I be worried? Is there anything I can do now besides wait and hope for my period?
