am I doing something wrong!? grumpy baby!
My baby is 5 months and is a generally grumpy baby! It all starts around 2 months ago. She is super active and gets bored easily. It's like an absolute mission to keep her happy and entertained, she has a play Matt, and abundance of toys, bouncer, swing, door way jumper, I put her in front of the mirror, do sensory play, I walk around with her, i talk and sing, books, i take her outside for walks, cartoons, tummy time, floor time etc it constantly has to be changing and Even after all of that she is still just relatively grumpy. I give her quiet time, she hates to cuddle so if she's in my arms she either sat up or having to be bopped around, but I will lay her in her crib or on the bed - sometimes she is content but often she gets mad and needs to move into the next activity. She takes 20 minute naps 2 or 3 times through out the day - I think this is why she is grouchy all the time but iv tried everything to keep her napping longer, a dark room, in my arms, in her rock and play, cozy in her snow suit, I try nursing her back to sleep, white noise, sleeping alone, (I don't let her cry it out) I feel as tho iv done something wrong, I try so hard to make her happy and she is just generally grumpy most of the time, don't get me wrong she has her happy moments and is usually entertained by each activity for a little bit! I'm exhausted and sad! I don't know what else to do, I think teething plays a part in it sometimes but I can tell when she's upset cuz of her teeth or becuase she's hungry vs when she's upset just becuase she's a grumpy little monster! When her behavior started back a few months ago I thought it's a growth spurt she will grow out of it but 2 months later and I feel as tho she's just getting worse! She's so unpredictable too, one day she will love something and find it funny and laugh and smile the next day it will make her cry. I never know with her anymore. I don't know what else to do and I'm starting to think I'm not good enough for her 😢😢
