Is grabbing another girls ass cheating?

Asking about my ex... I wasn't aware of any of this before we broke up, but I've started to hear stories and I'm pissed because I think he was cheating. Not a full blown other relationship, but grabbing other girls asses and flirting. 
I feel like I didn't even mean anything to him? I'm questioning everything right now, we dated for a year and a half. 
It doesn't matter much anyway since we're not even dating anymore, but getting closure and knowing if the relationship was a sham is important to me.

I'm my opinion it isn't, he wasn't intending to get her into bed and start a relationship or whatever. Probably just silly behaviour whilst around people

Passing witty banter with a woman or grabbing ass as a dare or something I wouldn't count as cheating...I'd just say it's cheating if he had intention to take it farther, even if he didn't end up doing anything else
