Is it safe to use a home fetal Doppler often ??

My dr said it's fine for everyday use. The baby tends to wiggle if I leave it very long, so I only use it for a few minutes.

I use mine every few days, but I'll probably cut back once the kicking starts. I red a lot of studies and there are some concerns about the heat it creates, but there also isn't any concrete that they cause harm. From what I've read, the issue comes when people use them for extended periods of time. I've heard of some mamas soending an hour looking for the heartbeat. But I know where baby hangs out, so it takes me less than 10 seconds to find it! I only use mine for a minute or so at a time.

I used to do it every night before bed, it helped me relax knowing baby was ok. Now that I feel flutters, I only check it maybe twice a week. My baby starts kicking and wiggling like crazy when I do it. I can hear the kicks through the doppler it's crazy.
