Whether you spent the minimum you needed to or splurged, I love planning, breakdowns, and budgets.

If you're willing to share, what did you buy for your baby and/or how much did it all cost? (No need for, like, an itemized breakdown, but if you wanted to that'd be cool too 😂.

I personally plan on buying the minimum when I have a baby, but buying the best I can (although hopefully finding second hand quality items... I don't like buying new because of recycling)

We were gifted clothes and travel sustem (stroller, carseat). We bought crib, mattress, pad, sheets for under 150$ all. We also got a baby bath tub for 15$. Cannot remember else lol!

I registered for some essentials and some like to haves. Shower will be this weekend.

Total spent on baby #5 has been less than $500. Includes new carseat and new crib & mattress.

I just finished my registry today. Everything besides diapers and clothes will be around $3,000. I don't think that's bad at all.

Oh gosh I never really thought about but I'd say out of pocket from me alone I spent about $1500 ( which don't not include what I spent on the baby shower) . Which includes crib, travel system stroller, diaper bag, clothes , boxes of diaper and grooming stuff for her. The baby shower I had about $1100 in gift cards and cash . Gifts from my baby showers oh man . I just realized that's a lot and I don't use half the stuff . Luckily my cousin is due with a girl so I can give her stuff 😊

In all, with a full nursery(crib, mattress, rocking chair, decor, dresser), car seat stroller, breast pump, anything not given as gifts we probably spent close to $1200. Everything was purchased new though so it added up quick.

We did get a lot of gifts. I can't remember exactly how much we spent, but I'm pretty frugal so I definitely went for good deals. One thing I did find once my son was here, I didn't use a large amount of the stuff that I got.

Personally I spent $200 on smaller multiple items (all weather cover for stroller, lighted mirror for the car, baby bottle set, breast feeding scarf, 2 baby gates, Bottle Sterilizer, drying rack, and a lot of other stuff).
 
I bought the Ergo360 Carrier for $75 during the Black Friday sale.
 
Most of the other stuff I was gifted, purchased for my niece over a year ago for use at my hous, or have hand me downs (pack n play with bassinet, stroller, car seat, toys, baby clothes, bathtub, diapers and wipes, crib, high chair, bouncer and swing, jumper, etc.)
