Daycare FYI!
I found out today my son has pneumonia😞 They said it's a viral infection, so I have a feeling he caught it from the little girl in his daycare room who was sick all last week. Parents- if your child isn't feeling well, please keep them home. Every day I saw this baby fussy, clingy, lethargic and her mother kept insisting she was okay so the daycare providers let her stay. My son was born premature, so is more prone to infections.. it's been a tough winter for him, this being his 4th and most severe cold and it could have been prevented.. We as parents need to keep in mind the impact we can make on other children as each is different- even if it is hard to take those days off work. I'm in college right now, my son is in subsidized daycare so I feel the pain having to take days off school, and use my sons sick days (only have 30 for the whole year- if I go over, i pay the difference). Stay safe everyone, I pray this flu season is over soon!!Â
