I took a pregnancy test yesterday and it was negative and I just took this one I bought in Mexico and it says pregnant! My period is supposed to start the 26th. Do you think it could be a false positive and maybe I need to try again?

I'd say it's positive. False positives are rare for digital tests because the need a lot of hcg

It's normal to be negative one day and positive the next. Maybe yesterday you didn't have enough hcg yet but today you do

Take another one. Do a pink dye test also. And if they both come out positive then make a doctors appointment for a blood test. Good luck!

I tested positive with a digital test a week before I was suppose to get my period. It ended up being twins so that's probably why I got a positive so early.

I was told there's no such thing as a false positive. But you can get a false negative. I'm saying because I've taken 5 test since the first one ( which I texted my husband "it's got to be a false positive there's no way I'm pregnant!" Yeah...wait a few days and try again...

Af is due in a week for you... not sure you'd have that much hcg to detect  pregnancy  cause you'd he 3 weeks pregnant right now

You could have had a period while already pregnant. I had one with my last pregnancy before we found out. It's rare but entirely possible.
