Should Schools Emphasize on Comprehensive Sex education?

In my English class, we have to make a persuasive speech about a controversial subject. I have heard debates about this subject and thought it was interesting: Should Schools Emphasize on Comprehensive Sex Education?
My answer is yes! (We have to pick the pro or con side)
I wanted to ask you, ladies of eve. and Glow, should they? Share your thoughts in the comments below!

If kids are taught about sex at the suitable age its going to help reduce teenage pregnancies, sexually transmitted infections. As we all know sex is a normal part of life so learning about it will help us to make good decisions for example: using protection if kids aren't taught about this then how are they going to know on how to have safe sex and to avoid unwanted  pregnancy.

Absolutely. The main problem with secual education is not the school system itself but parents. For some reason parents are not open to the idea of teaching the young generations about sexuality because they see it as a form of the school pressuring kids to have sex at a young age. In this country believed to be a first world country, the lack of sexual education is surprisingly non-existent, where as to third world countries emphasize in the importance of sexual education at a young age during the years of elementary school. Sexual education is not solely on having sex but as main focus to educate boys and girls about the phases they will go through as their body changes. From, what to expect when you begin to menstruate? To, what is the life cycle of sperms under certain conditions? The main focus is for each gender to learn about their reproductive systems in order to learn about themselves as humans.

No. It isn't a school's job to educate children on sex it's a parents. Now if there's a sex ed class, then yeah do more than just say girls have vaginas and guys have a penis. But I think blaming schools in general for children not being educated on sex is unfair.
