I have my name for my daughter and me and my partner both love it..
We have decided not to tell anyone as I got a lot of people commenting on my sons name at first and it was really annoying.
Anyway her name will be Aoife mae and I love it.. it's pronounced ee-fa and it is Irish.
The meaning of the name is beautiful and means the greatest and most beautiful female warrior in the world..
I have had my dad ask me "why so Irish" as he lives in Ireland and I've had my mum like " oooh I can't say it " now they have got used to it and we wouldn't have anything else.
To us this is her name regardless of what people think.. it's just that as it is unusual I can imagine people's opinions.
