disposable or reusable nursing bra pads?

FTM here hoping to breastfeed. Do I really need nursing bra pads? Am I going to be that leaky? And if so do you recommend the washable reusable ones or the disposable ones? Thanks!

I'm going to try and use washable ones, but I've heard they're not as absorbent. Hoping to cloth diaper and use cloth wipes too.

I used disposable just to eliminate the extra thing to wash but otherwise can't confirm.

It's good to get some just in case. Some women barely leak at all and some leak a ton, it depends on your body. Personally I got the reusable ones, but that's mainly because I don't like being wasteful and try to go with reusable options for most things.

I'm already leaky and I'm still just pregnant. I got both types at my shower from moms who've nurses. They all highly recommend the wool ones to help with mastitis (we live in a cold climate)

I use the disposable ones by Lansinoh and they last me all day! I leak without them though...like I will drip milk if I don't have them on!

You may or may not leak but I certainly do! I like the washable ones because I've been leaking colostrum for 20 weeks already and baby is not even here yet and I can't imagine spending so much money on disposable nursing pads for over a year.

Oh yes ! Everytime you have a let down of milk you will get quite wet... I use disposable ones that you find and in any supermarket
