Okay so I've had my cat (Tinsley) for around 4 months! She's 8 months old and we adopted her. She fit right in and we've never had a problem. Me and my husband decided to adopt a new little tiny kitten who is a month old. We went and got her today and tried our hardest to do well at introducing her to our other cat. Well she is NOT having it. I'm sure that it will take awhile to get her used to the baby kitten but is there any way to make this easier? Tinsley has hid from us all day and when she gets around the baby she hisses and swats at her. I'm trying to give Tinsley the same if not more attention then we usually do so she doesn't get jealous. Any advice? Pic below of their age difference.
