I wanted to keep our daughter in our room until a year old, but one night while rocking her to sleep, I put her in her crib so I could run off to pee. I came back to a soundly sleeping baby. She sleeps better in her bed than she does in a pack in play, so she sleeps in her room now, at 7 months old.
