no period? not ovulating?

Looking for advice. My last period was on November 30. I took a pregnancy test and it was negative. I have NEVER gone this long without a period. We have been trying to conceive since September, now I am worried I'm not ovulating. Can I get pregnant without having had a period? Should I go to the doctor?

Some people never get positive pregnancy tests and it's only when they get bloods done that their pregnancy is confirmed. Definitely head to your doctor and get bloods as a first step. xx

I would definitely get checked out if it's been this long since your last cycle and no positive pregnancy test. There are many things that can cause a pause or delay in your period, so your best bet would be to make an appt with your doc to find out what's going on. He or she will probably want to do a blood test to check for pregnancy as well as any hormone issues that could be causing this. Have you recently been under a lot of stress or discontinued birth control? I know when I had my iud removed I went 2 months without a period, but if you haven't recently gotten off BC and don't think stress is a factor, it's probably best to get your hormone levels checked. So sorry you're going through this, I know how frustrating a situation like this can be. Hope you get answers soon.
