Helping Girlfriend? Advice?

Okay, I need an outsider's opinion on this matter. My boyfriend and I have been together for about 3 years and we're in love. My boyfriend has always struggled to make it on his own as his parents aren't as I would say "catering" as my own mother. I live under her roof and pay some of the bills no rent. My bf has his own place which he shares with roommates. He lives paycheck to paycheck and he recently lost his job and is trying to work for one of the driving services. He needed money for a deposit and I offered to help him with it. He didn't ask me or anything like that. I did it out of my own will because I love him and he needs a job to keep his apartment. I don't want him to lose it. From an outsider what does this look like? Is it something you would do for someone you love? Would you help someone you love financially if it meant it'd relieve them and help them?

You did a great thing and I'm sure he's thankful and grateful for it. Life is tough and is better when we have people in our lives that we can lean on. Or better yet, have people in our lives who come to support us without having to ask. Good luck to your significant other finding a new job.

I think you did a great thing.  I would help my fiancé financially if I had the money. I hate seeing him struggle.  Was he great full for the help?

Yes,I would help my bf or anyone for that matter financially, if it would help relieve the stress and burden they had at that time etc. So I see nothing wrong for you trying to help your guy out for a bit, til he can get a better job. Especially when you asked if you could and he never pushed you to help or anything for that matter. 
 To be honest, just recently did this for my bf. Since he was low on cash,from one of his loans being taken out etc. He needed some money and I gave him some.  He's never pushed me to help or anything before either,so I made sure he knew I was just fine with helping him out. Since I know if it was reversed, he'd done the same for me. 
Anyways,I give both your bf and yourself the best of luck for a new job and that financially things will be also better for you two.😊
