Can a blood test be wrong?

I took a home pregnancy test and it had a light positive, it was a blue dye though. And then I had a blood test that said less than 1. Can it be wrong? This is my test I took.

I'm sorry honey but that is a negative. I see what you see on the test but that's just because it's blue dye. Blue dye tests are notorious for giving VVVFL because it's a runny dye and our eyes can see the color blue the very best. I would suggest switching to a pink dye test to avoid this kind of confusion in the future.

Blood test checking for hcg would not be wrong unless implantation had just barely occurred. I'm sorry :(

Maybe you had a chemical pregnancy. I had vvvvfl and started bleeding one week after af, but at dr hey could not fond trace of pregnancy and guessed chemical.
