It is important to both [my husband] and I to do what we can to be minimalist (we have a 1 bedroom apartment after all) and to protect the environment and avoid purchasing a ton of new stuff so that we can reduce, reuse, recycle. We love well cared for second-hand items so that they end up being used instead ending up in landfills. We would be happy to be blessed with any generosity, but just know that we would be more than happy to accept consigned/second-hand items as well, even though that's not generally thought of with baby shower gifts. We also love and welcome hand-made items.

I remember your first post! And I'm not on here too often lol If I remember correctly, I think you said that you already had some items and if that's the case, then this list looks pretty good. I would ask for one or two specific brands of bottles. Sometimes baby only takes one or two types and you're stuck with a ton of others you can't use.

I would also specify the infant seat to be a Baby Trend infant car seat so it snaps into your jogger.  You can hold off on a convertable seat for now, but you'll need one once baby outgrows the infant seat. Do you have more than one car? Make sure you have a second infant seat base.

You also might want to add a playmat of some sorts. There are a few that grow with your baby so it doesn't go to waste after 9 months. You wouldn't need that until around 3 or 4 months anyway.

Answer

Most places you can register at (Target, Buy Buy Baby, etc.) will have your registry under your name, so when someone goes into the store to shop, they print out your list at Customer Service. That way you have exactly what you picked out, color, brand, theme.
