Love can absolutely happen more than once. Your feelings for your first love will likely never go away, but that doesn't stop the feelings from starting with another person.

Oh it happens again! Trust me! I was in love for 3 years once. Now I'm with a new man and madly in love. Not all love is the same, but it comes back! And it's great if not even better then next time around, because you've done some searching and probably know what you like better! That's what I've learned at least!
