CALLING ALL military wives that have gone through hubby being away in boot camp......
My husband is in Navy boot camp in Great Lakes IL. I live in VA. I've been writing my husband letters since before Christmas and sent the first batch of them(3)with about 20 pictures around the 3rd of January...the day after he was able to call and talk in the 2nd. I've written him and sent him about 8 more and another batch of pictures after that. I've gotten 3 letters from him dated Jan 3,9,and 17. The 17th one I just got today and he said that he hasn't gotten anything that I sent. He's gotten things from his parents and gotten paperwork that I sent that he asked for...but none of my letters. WHY NOT?!? He left on the 13th of December!!! He's been gone for 5 weeks now and hasn't gotten any of MY letters. Is the mail THAT delayed? Why would he get his parents letters and the paperwork but not MINE?! Someone please help!! I'm so upset and pissed off!
EDIT:yes we have the issues I talked about in my other posts...but that doesn't mean I'm not gonna write him about his daughter and send him pictures and support him.
UPDATE‼️‼️so I sent the first 3 letters with some pictures that were too big to fit in a regular envelope...so I sent them in a cardboard envelope thing that I got at the post office. It had a tracking number that I JUST REMEMBERED I HAD!! So I track it and it says it was delivered on the 14TH...I sent it on the 5th!!!!! My husband wrote me the letter saying he wasn't getting anything from me in the 15th(it was sent the 17th)!!!! I'm sooooo mad rn! Why did it take a week and 1/2 to get there?! And what about my other letters that I just in the normal mail?! Why did he get his parents letters but not mine?! I don't get it! Hopefully he can call and this can all be sorted out. Cause I'm stressing tf out rn!!!
