Light pink spotting since my last period, whats going on?

Hi everyone! I had my last period around new years, I have had light pink spotting since, not enough to really need a pad, but its noticeable when I wipe. No clots or anything like that, however if I'm using the restroom(#2) its a bit heavier and darker. My next period is supposed to start tomorrow, any ideas ladies?
