First response is the best! I got my positive pretty early, but it's best to hold out as long as you can to test

I used a regular first response and got my bfp 6 days before my period was due. Definitely buy red dye but I don't think brand really matters.

Its best to just wait until AF is due! First response says it can detect pregnancy up to 6 days before your miss period, but that is assuming that you implant that early.
