Couples shower/gift opening question
Our couples happy hour shower is next weekend and my husband and I would like to avoid the dreaded gift opening hour. We have the space for 3 hours and would rather spend the time visiting with our guests. We understand some people want to see us open gifts and others would rather not sit through it. We know the obvious answer is that "you can't please everyone" but, we are looking to get creative. We have roughly 60 people coming.
Has anyone used the "open as guests arrive" method or attended a shower where has been used? How did that work?
