Zika free beach destinations?!

I really want to have belly pics on the beach and I live in Buffalo 😭 I wish I can go to the Caribbean. Plus I'm from Puerto Rico and I wish I could go there 😭

I'm from Buffalo too! My family is from Trinidad so we went there last week on vacation and that's where we found out that we were expecting again. The mosquito that carries zika was mostly eradicated from most islands. You should be fine no matter which one you go to.

I'm in south Florida and the talk of zika has really subsided. I'm a Florida native and can tell you that mosquitos don't like salt water and air. I've never gotten bitten by a mosquito on the beach, they like parks and lakes. If your hotel is on the ocean you don't have to worry. If you're going to venture out, get some cute pilazzo pants and a beach cover up and you'll be fine. I haven't gotten bitten by a mosquito in years and the chances it will have zika is super duper rare. If you want a relaxing, not crowded area with a hotel on the beach check out Jupiter Beach resort, and there's great areas with shopping and restaurants in the area.
