Preseed, opks, and bbt

We were TTC a short time. I was taking opks and we dtd...Nothing. so at the advice of my doctor I started taking my bbt and opks. In October we started taking TTC seriously and that was the first month I did bbt. I got PG, but it ended in a very early miscarriage. If you look at my chart, my LP hormones (progesterone) temp spike took a while to go above the coverline.

I miscarried November 24. We tried again right after, at which time I didn't temp except for after ovulation as I wasn't sure we would TTC again right away.

I got my period December 23, at which time I started temping again along with opks and using preseed.

I just found out on Wednesday that we are pregnant again, and the lines keep getting darker. I got to see the temp spike right after ovulation.

I think taking your bbt is very important. Each month I did I got a BFP. It also helps take a good look at your cycle. Most woman starting the TTC journey believe that you ovulate on cd 14 like clockwork. Taking my bbt confirmed that I ovulate on cd 18. Opks also confirm this. The one thing with just using opks though is that you can get an LH surge and most of the time you will ovulate, but there may be times you don't. Bbt helps confirm ovulation.

I am not sure if preseed did anything, but if nothing else, using a fertility friendly lubricant is definitely a good idea.

What I used:

-Accumed ovulation tests

-Easy at home thermometer

-Preseed.

Good luck!
