Skyla IUD...still bleeding?

I got the Skyla IUD 5 months ago and I'm still bleeding. At one point I had my period for 2 months. Just wondering if this is normal? Why this is happening?

I think it just depends on each person. I have Skyla and I have cramps a day or two before my period and then my period starts. I still bleed/spot. My period never actually went away with the IUD and I have had it in for 2 years.

Is it straight up bleeding like the heavy kind during a period, or is it spotting. I've had almost nonstop spotting since I got mine but it's not even that bad. They always say the first 6 months is when you can expect the normal spotting and cramping to happen. If it's like heavy bleeding for that long though then you may want to see you OB just in case to make sure everything's still ok.
