Swimming?

Question

When are you guys planning on taking your little ones swimming? My little man was 12 weeks last thursday but will be 3 months on the 27th of Jan. He has his next shots tomorrow (1 jab) he had his first lot. I just wondered what age do you typically take them swimming? He's such a water baby i know he will adore swimming so i'm excited!

We went to Mexico when ours was just turning 3 months. I used mineral based sunscreen and covered him up pretty well! He didn't like it at first but after a few attempts, he was into pool time👍🏼👍🏼

The rec center we joined has parent/baby swim classes for babies as young as 6 months! We were going to try to take her swimming before then, but the swim diapers I found have a minimum weight of I think it was 16 pounds. She should hit that when she's 6 months, so I guess we'll have to wait until then unless she bulks up sooner.

I wanted to try now since we were thinking about a weekend getaway, but everything I read is saying 6 months because they can't regulate their  temperatures yet. So I guess we'll wait tip than. I'm excited to see him in the pool though.

We are starting in March! We have an aquatics center that has infant classes in the spring (2-6 months). He will be 5 months and I couldn't be more excited. There is a special infant pool that is nice and warm for the babies.

I took my daughter swimming in an indoor pool at 2 1/2 months. We went to Atlantic City and she loved it!!

We will be going march 4, to a birthday party at a pool, so she will be just over 4 months. I can't wait! 😊😊😊

I took my 12 week old on sat! She loved it! She even had a 3.5 hr nap afterwards. We only stayed at the pool for half hr or so. Going to go back this weekend!

We will be taking her to the beach when she's six months. Their skin can't even handle sunscreen right now or we probably would have already taken her. It's summer year long here in Florida lol
