tips to produce more milk ?

There are certain times in the day where it seems I don't produce enough for him. I tried switching and he eats fine for the first minute but latches off and starts to get fussy because there isn't enough for him. 
It's only during that certain time where it's not going as he wants it. 
Any tips on how to produce more milk ? 
FTM mom to a 6 week old son. 
Also want to start to freeze some before school starts

Your supply will vary throughout the day due to hormones and it's totally normal. Typically your supply is highest in the morning and may decrease as the day goes on. Mine seems to be lowest in the late afternoon. Baby will eat different amounts during the day and will make up by eating more earlier.
