HELP..!

So I love giving my husband head but it's difficult. I'm a terrible deep throater lol.. any time it gets close to the back I instantly begin to gag.. the only time I can deep throat is if I just put it all in at once, then stop.. but I can't consecutively do it back to back because I'll throw up ! Any tips and tricks anyone can share?
