baby trying fruit?

My little guy is almost 14 weeks and I believe is teething. He chews on his hands and my hands all the time. I was wondering if at this stage if I let him try to suck on an apple or honey dew if that would be okay?

From what I understand babies should not try solid food until 6 months or sometimes 4 months w doc okay.

It's a milestone! He's discovering his hands and if you put a chew toy in his hand he'll eat that too. 
It's a totally normal part of his development. 
I remember being confused at that age wondering if it was teething too
While they can get teeth early it's most likely not that

There are plenty of teething products out there to use instead of introducing food too young. It's usually around 6 months that foods are ok, always best for pediatrician ok before.

No. Use a teething ring or another teething product. Apples are especially dangerous because they are a choking hazard due to the texture.

My pediatrician said to wait to 6 months before introducing fruits and vegetables. You can freeze breastmilk or formula for them to chew on.  There's also some really neat textured chew toys.

It's fine, just keep a close eye on him; because there is a possibility that a piece of it can come off & him choke.
