What is water test?

Saw someone post about a water test on pregnancy tests, what is that and how good does it work?

Answer

It's where a faint line is on a test after the time frame and to see whether it's an evaporation line or a true positive they dip the test in water. If it's a evaporation line the water will make it disappear, if it's a positive the line will stay.
That's what I've been told anyways..

Done it tons of times the "line" stayed most of the time and they were negative
